Scoring and pass marks

Turn answers into a percentage and a pass or fail result.

Scoring is optional and set per checklist.

1. Open the checklist in the builder and switch Scoring on.
2. Set the pass threshold, for example 80% for a NABH Ward Readiness Audit.
3. Give each scored question a weight. A heavier weight counts more.
4. For dropdown, single and multiple choice questions, set the score for each option.

When an inspection is completed CareList adds up the points earned against the maximum, shows the percentage, and marks it Pass or Fail against the threshold.

Only these types count towards the score: Pass / Fail, Rating, Dropdown, Single choice and Multiple choice. Text, number, date, photo, signature, location and barcode answers are recorded but not scored.

The score appears on the inspection, the PDF, the dashboards and in analytics.
