Show a question only when needed
Use conditional logic to keep long checklists short.
A question can be shown only when an earlier answer matches a rule.
- Save the checklist once. Conditional logic is unlocked after the questions exist.
- On the question that should be conditional, pick the earlier question it depends on.
- Choose a condition: is equal to, is not equal to, contains, or is answered.
- Enter the value to compare (not needed for is answered).
- Save.
Example: in an Imaging Safety Screening, show “Type of implant” only when “Does the patient have a pacemaker or metal implant?” is equal to Yes.
Hidden questions are skipped when the inspector completes the checklist, so they never block completion and are not scored.
