Platform admin: companies, plans and support

For the person who hosts CareList for many hospitals and diagnostic centres.

Platform admins sign in to a separate Companies area.

Create a company

Choose New, enter the company name and choose:

• Company type:
  • Hospital: unlocks Patients and Diagnostics and installs the Admitted Patients, Infection Control, NABH Accreditation Audits, Laboratory, Imaging and Hospital Facility packs.
  • Diagnostic centre: unlocks Diagnostics (no Patients) and installs the Laboratory, Imaging, NABL / Diagnostic Centre Audits, Infection Control and Diagnostic Centre Operations packs.
• Plan and seat limit (Trial 5, Starter 10, Pro 50, Enterprise 500 by default) and an optional end date.
• The first admin user. A password is generated and shown once.

Manage

On a company page you can edit its details, add users with any role offered for the company's type (including Administrator; see Roles and what each can do), reset a user's password, deactivate users, and suspend or reactivate the company. Suspended or expired companies cannot sign in and see the reason.

Help a customer

Impersonate opens the company as one of its users so you can reproduce a problem. A banner stays on screen with Back to platform to return.

Note: Changing a company's type installs the new type's packs without duplicating existing checklists. Changing a hospital to a diagnostic centre hides Patients; existing patient records are kept.
