Consumables and spares

Stock, restock and use consumables and spares on work orders.

Open More → Biomedical & facility → Consumables & spares (biomedical engineer, lab manager and the full-access roles).

• Add an item with name, SKU, storage location, unit cost, starting stock and a minimum level, for example flow sensors, SpO2 probes, bacterial filters or autoclave gaskets.
• Restock when new stock arrives.
• On a work order, add the item and quantity used. Stock goes down and the cost is added to the work order.
• Remove a line from a work order to put the stock back.
• Edit an item to change its details or minimum level.
