Care plans and discharge
Apply the standard care plan and stop checks at discharge.
Standard care plan
When admitting a patient you can tick the standard plan, or later choose Apply standard care plan instead in the Add checklist to care plan section of the patient page. CareList assigns these checklists to the bed:

The plan uses the published checklists with these exact names, so install the Hospital – Admitted Patients pack from the template library (hospitals get it automatically) and publish them first. Tasks go to the patient's primary nurse (or to you).
Add other checklists
Use Add checklist to care plan to add any published checklist, for example Pressure Injury Risk Check, Pre-operative Checklist or Post-operative Observation. Choose the checklist, how often, who does it, and an optional first due time (default is one hour from now).
Discharge
Choose discharge on the patient. The patient moves out of the active list, recurring checks stop and the patient's open checklists are closed; no further tasks are created for that bed. Earlier records are kept.
Readmit
If the patient returns, choose readmit and apply a care plan again.
