A single loop keeps wards and labs audit-ready: build, assign, run, review, fix.
Every laboratory and imaging order follows the same visible path, with turnaround time measured from registration to verification.
| Step | What happens |
|---|---|
| Registered | Front desk enters the patient, tests, source and priority. CareList gives an accession number, prints a QR sample label and attaches the protocol checklist. |
| Sample collected | The phlebotomist or home-collection staff complete the Sample Collection Checklist. For imaging this step is called Scan done. |
| Received in lab | The lab scans the label on arrival, or rejects the sample with a reason such as haemolysed or wrong tube. Imaging skips this step. |
| Processing and Reported | The test is run and reported. A critical result is flagged with who was notified and when. |
| Verified and Delivered | A pathologist or radiologist verifies the report, which stops the TAT clock, and it is delivered to the patient or doctor. |
17 medical roles, each with or without manager access and its own clinical capabilities. See every role.
| Role | Responsibilities |
|---|---|
| Platform admin | Creates and suspends hospitals and centres, sets company type, plan and seats, resets passwords and can impersonate a company to give support. |
| Administrator | Everything within a company: employees, settings, branding, checklists, automation and every clinical step. |
| Medical director, quality manager | Manager access plus full clinical access: approvals, deviations, analytics, audits and report verification. |
| Nursing superintendent, head of department, lab manager | Manager access (build and assign checklists, approve, analytics, audit log) with the clinical access of their area; the lab manager verifies lab reports. |
| Doctor, staff nurse, front office, pharmacist | Patients and ward work: doctors, nursing superintendent and front office admit and discharge; nurses collect samples and run bedside checklists. |
| Pathologist, radiologist, lab technician, phlebotomist, radiographer | Diagnostics steps by role: collect, process, report. Only pathologists verify lab reports and only radiologists verify imaging reports. No access to admitted patients. |
| Biomedical engineer, housekeeping, staff / auditor | Equipment, work orders and facility checklists; no patient data. Biomedical engineers manage equipment, schedules and spares. |
Patient information stays private, every action is traceable, and the app keeps working on busy wards with weak signal.
| Area | What it means for you |
|---|---|
| Data separation | Each hospital or diagnostic centre is fully separate. Staff only ever see their own organisation’s checklists, patients, orders and equipment. |
| Role-based access | 17 medical roles decide who sees patients, who can register, process or verify diagnostics, and who manages equipment. Suspended accounts and expired subscriptions cannot sign in. |
| Audit trail | Every change is recorded with the person and time, including each time a patient or test order is opened, ready for NABH and NABL assessors. |
| Signed evidence | Branded PDF reports with drawn signatures, attestations, scores and photo evidence; QR labels for equipment, locations and samples. |
| Notifications | In-app alerts, phone push notifications on Android, iPhone and desktop, and email alerts that each person can switch off. |
| Automatic schedules | Reminders every 15 minutes, turnaround-time checks every 5 minutes, preventive maintenance every hour, and daily or weekly compliance emails. |
| Works anywhere | One phone-first app that installs from the browser, keeps answers on the device without signal and syncs when the connection returns. |
