Push notifications
Get alerts on your phone, even when the app is closed.
Turn them on
- Open More and find Push notifications. If you do not see the box, your administrator has not set it up yet.
- Tap Enable and allow notifications when your browser asks.
- Tap Send a test notification to check it works.
Every in-app notification (new tasks, reminders, approvals, work orders, critical values and TAT breaches) is also sent as a push to your enabled devices. Turn it off on a device with Turn off. Logging out removes that device automatically.
By email too
The same alerts can also reach your inbox: tick Email me alerts in My account. Admins can also send a daily or weekly compliance report. See Email reports and alerts.
If it does not work
- iPhone: add CareList to the Home Screen first, then enable.
- Blocked: if the box says Blocked in browser settings, allow notifications for the site in your browser settings and reload.
- Not supported here: use a current Chrome, Edge, Firefox or Safari.
- The site must use HTTPS (or localhost for testing).
Administrators: push notifications are switched on once for your installation by your IT team.
